An overview of the Bathymetry toolbox

The Bathymetry toolbox contains tools that allow you to extract and convert data in a bathymetric information system (BIS) to other formats. These tools allow you to extract depth features from a BIS composite surface or convert them to ASCII. They also allow you to convert other bathymetric data formats to a bathymetric attributed grid (BAG).

Toolset/Tool	Description
Analysis	The Bathymetric Analysis toolset lets you extract points sampled from a bathymetric surface managed as a raster or mosaic dataset. Extracted points are written to a feature class or ASCII file.
Conversion	The Bathymetric Conversion toolset contains tools that convert data between bathymetric formats.
