Supported System Configurations
Data Appliance for ArcGIS for Windows
The Data Appliance for ArcGIS for Windows is built on Microsoft Windows 2008 Storage Server R2 (64-bit).
Note: This applies only for Cutting Edge equipment purchased with the Data Appliance 5.1 for ArcGIS for Windows. Visit Cutting Edge technical support for more information on the Data Appliance for ArcGIS for Windows hardware and Operating System.
Requirements for ArcGIS for Server for Windows
- To host the Data Appliance 5.1 for ArcGIS services, ArcGIS Server 10 or ArcGIS 10.1 for Server is required; ArcGIS Server 10 SP5 or higher is recommended.

- To host the Data Appliance 5.0 for ArcGIS locator services, ArcGIS Server 10 SP3 is required.
