ESRI.ArcGIS.ADF.Web.UI.WebControls.Tools Namespace : IPageServerToolAction Interface




The interface that should be implemented in order for a class to function as the server-side action of a Tool on a Toolbar associated with a set of PageLayout controls. Also, the interface that needs to be implemented by the server-side component of a PageToolItem.

Remarks

In order for a Tool to perform an action on the server for the page of a PageLayout, a class must be created that implements this interface. The developer sets the Tool's ServerActionClass property to the name of this class, typically at design time in the toolbar items editor.

This interface requires one method to be implemented: ServerAction. This method handles the server-side action of the tool.
