While Web controls typically have a Style property that defines the appearance of the control, the toolbar uses multiple style properties. These properties will apply depending on the current state of the tool or command:
- ToolbarItemDefaultStyle, which applies to any tool/command that is not currently selected (active), disabled, or hovered over;
- ToolbarItemHoverStyle, which applies when the user hovers over the tool/command;
- ToolbarItemSelectedStyle, which applies when the user clicks the tool/command--usually this causes a tool to appear depressed; and
- ToolbarItemDisabledStyle, which applies when the tool/command has been disabled by code.
Each of these styles accepts a standard Style, with its normal properties for font, fore-color, back-color, width, etc. Keep in mind that the settings apply to the entire toolbar, not to individual tools or commands (though only one tool or command may be hovered over or selected at a given time).
If you use a Font Size of XX-Large, your font size will be smaller on Netscape Navigator than it appears at design time.
