Choosing the map series storage setting

Legacy:

10.2.1 is the final release in which MPS-Atlas is available for installation. It is recommended that map series created with MPS-Atlas be moved to data driven pages. For more information, see Migrating an MPS-Atlas map book to Data Driven Pages.

When using the Build Map Series or Build Simple Map Series wizard, the storage option set in the previous Storage dialog box, either Current Map Document or Individual Map Documents, will be used for the entire map series that is created.

Steps:

1. Click the Use Map Series Storage Setting option.
   Note:

   When using the Build Map Series or Build Simple Map Series wizard, the map documents use the storage option you selected in the previous Storage dialog box. The Storage option will be applied to the entire map series.

2. Click Next.

   The Rotation dialog box appears.

3. Proceed to one of the following:

   Data frame rotation configurationSetting up the data frame without rotationRotating the data frame to true northSetting up a fixed rotation valueUsing a field to define the rotation angle
