Using a field to define the rotation angle

10.2.1 is the final release in which MPS-Atlas is available for installation. It is recommended that map series created with MPS-Atlas be moved to data driven pages. For more information, see Migrating an MPS-Atlas map book to Data Driven Pages.
Once you have defined the layout for the map, you can choose to use a field to determine the data frame rotation value.

The option you choose determines the rotation that will be used for all the map sheets in your map series.
Steps:
- Click Select From Field in the Rotation list.

Click the Field drop-down arrow and choose a field that can be used to determine the rotation angle.
The Field list contains all the attributes in the area of interest (AOI) data source feature class.
- Click the Units drop-down arrow and choose a unit of measurement for the rotation angle.

Click Next.
The Spatial Reference dialog box appears.
