public class RemoveSpatialIndex
extends AbstractGPTool

Deletes the spatial index from a shapefile, file geodatabase feature class, or an ArcSDE feature class. The spatial index cannot be deleted from a personal geodatabase feature class. The Remove Spatial Index tool is contained in the Data Management Tools tool box.

Usage tips:

• The spatial index cannot be deleted from an ArcSDE feature class that is versioned.
