Reconciling and posting event data

注注:

The availability of the capability to reconcile and post in the Roadway Characteristics Editor is based on your deployment's configuration and may not be available in your deployment. For details on configuring the option to reconcile and post, see Configuring the Roadway Characteristics Editor web application.

When editing data from an enterprise geodatabase, you may want to reconcile and/or post edits from one version to another. These tasks can be accomplished using the Reconcile and Post feature within the Roadway Characteristic Editor using the steps listed below.

注注:

There should be preexisting versions of your database available for use. To review creating and changing enterprise geodatabase versions in RCE, see Changing versions.

步骤:
  1. Open a web browser and navigate to Roadway Characteristics Editor.
  2. On the Review tab, in the Versioning group, click Reconcile & Post.
Click the Reconcile & Post button

The Reconcile & Post dialog box appears.

  3. The dialog box will have a different appearance and drop-down lists depending on which layers are present in your map. If the layers in the map come from more than one database, then both the Edit Version and Target Version lists will appear. If all the layers in the map are located within one database, only the Target Version list will appear.

  4. If your map layers come from more than one database, click the Edit Version drop-down arrow to select which database version that is the child.
  5. Click the Target Version drop-down arrow to select which database version is the parent.
  6. If you want to only reconcile the data from your target version, click Reconcile.
    注注:

If you want to both reconcile and post your data to your target version, click Reconcile and Post.

The Reconcile & Post tool does not handle conflict detection. If there are conflicts between the edit and target version, an error message will appear and reconcile and post will fail. Under this circumstance, conflict resolution must be done using ArcMap.
