Enabling the Compsys Spatial Library (Aviation)

The Compsys Spatial Library is only available if you have the Compsys21 application installed. Once the application is installed, you must modify your environment settings so the Compsys Spatial Library is recognized when you use the feature builder.

  1. Right-click the My Computer icon on your Windows desktop and click Properties.

The System Properties dialog box appears.

  2. Click the Advanced tab.
  3. Click the Environment Variables button.

The Environment Variables dialog box appears.

  4. In the System variables area, choose Path in the Variable list.

If the path variable is not present in the Variable list in the System variables area, click New and type Path in the Variable name text box. Follow steps 8 through 12 to finish adding the variable.

  5. Click the Edit button.

The Edit System Variable dialog box appears.

  6. Click the Variable value text box.
  7. Press the END key to move to the end of the list in the text box.

This step does not apply if the variable is a new one.

  8. Type the installation path for the Compsys21 software.

The path is usually C:\Program Files\Compsys21.

If the Compsys21 software is installed on a 64-bit machine, you need to copy the radm32.dll file from C:\Program Files\COMPSYS21 to C:\Program Files (x86)\COMPSYS21 and change the path to C:\Program Files (x86)\COMPSYS21.

  9. Type a semicolon (;) at the end of the path.
  10. Click OK.

The Environment Variables dialog box appears.

  11. Click OK.

The System Properties dialog box appears.

  12. 单击确定
  13. Restart your computer.
