Business Points Reports

The Business Points reports allow you to quickly gather information about the businesses or shopping centers in an area. There are three different reports:

These reports only work on point layers and are specially designed to leverage the DMM shopping centers and Dun & Bradstreet business point locations included in Business Analyst.

Using Individual Features

You can run a Business Points report for individual features, for a whole layer, or for both options at the same time. The graphic below illustrates the output for the individual features option.

注注:

The individual features option can result in duplicate point entries on reports where trade areas overlap.

Using a Whole Layer

You can run a Business Points report for individual features, for a whole layer, or for both options at the same time. The graphic below illustrates the output for the whole layer option.

注注:

The whole layer approach will dissolve all polygons in the layer and create one report for all business points within the outermost boundary. Because of this, duplicate point entries, which can occur when using the individual features option, are not returned in the report.
