Creating a new data model version (Maritime Charting)

Versions can be added to models as your organization supports changes to a model. When feature datasets are included in the schema file, the feature classes within the dataset are included as part of the data model version.

手順:
  1. Start ArcMap.
  2. If necessary, open the Product Library window by clicking Customize Production Product Library on the main menu.

A tree view of the product library appears.

    Product Library tree view
  3. Right-click the name of the data model and click New Data Model Version.

The Data Models dialog box appears.

Initial view of the Data Models dialog box
  4. Click the ellipsis (...) next to the Choose Data Model Workspace text box.

The Browse to the workspace document dialog box appears.

  5. Navigate to the XML file that corresponds with the data model.
    ヒントヒント:

You can also navigate to a geodatabase and select it so that the schema is exported into the data model version.

If you are using Maritime Charting, browse to one of the following locations:

    • For 32-bit Windows operating systems—<Installation location>\Program Files\ArcGIS\MaritimeCharting\Desktop10.2.1\<product folder (for example, ENC, AML, or Charting)>\Schemas\Workspace
    • For 64-bit Windows operating systems—<Installation location>\Program Files (x86)\ArcGIS\MaritimeCharting\Desktop10.2.1\<product folder (for example, ENC, AML, or Charting)>\Schemas\Workspace

Choose the NAUTICAL_TEMPLATE_GX.XML for ENC or NAUTICAL_CHART_TEMPLATE_GX.XML for Charting. AML has six XML files:

    • NAUTICAL_CLB_TEMPLATE_GX.XML
    • NAUTICAL_ESB_TEMPLATE_GX.XML
    • NAUTICAL_LBO_TEMPLATE_GX.XML
    • NAUTICAL_MFF_TEMPLATE_GX.XML
    • NAUTICAL_RAL_TEMPLATE_GX.XML
    • NAUTICAL_SBO_TEMPLATE_GX.XML
  6. Click Select.

The Data Models dialog box appears. The path to the XML file or geodatabase you chose appears in the Choose Data Model Workspace field.

If you are using Maritime Charting, skip steps 7–10

  7. Double-click the Major text box and type the new major version number you want to assign to the data model.
  8. Double-click the Minor text box and type the new minor version number you want to assign to the data model.
  9. Double-click the Edition text box and type the new edition number you want to assign to the data model.
  10. Double-click the Revision text box and type the new revision number you want to assign to the data model.
  11. Check the Version check box next to each table, feature and feature dataset you want versioned in an ArcSDE geodatabase.

If you are using Maritime Charting, check the check box for the following:

    • Nautical feature dataset
    • PLTS_FREL
    • PLTS_SREL
    • PLTS_COLLECTIONS
    • PLTS_PRODUCT
    • PLTS_NAUTICAL_DELETES_A
    • PLTS_NAUTICAL_DELETES_L
    • PLTS_NAUTICAL_DELETES_P
    • ClosingLinesL

If you are using the Charting data model, also check the following:

    • CartographicFeatures
    • GRD_Grids
  12. Check the Archive check box next to each table and feature dataset you want to archive.

If you are using Maritime Charting, check the check box for the following:

    • Nautical feature dataset
    • PLTS_FREL
    • PLTS_SREL
    • PLTS_COLLECTIONS
    • PLTS_PRODUCT
    • PLTS_NAUTICAL_DELETES_A
    • PLTS_NAUTICAL_DELETES_L
    • PLTS_NAUTICAL_DELETES_P
    • ClosingLinesL

If you are using the Charting data model, also check the following:

    • CartographicFeatures
    • GRD_Grids

The Data Models dialog box should look similar to the one below (actual model and version numbers may vary).

    Data Model ID
  13. Click OK.
The Creating Data Model Version progress dialog box appears with the status information.
    注意注意:

It can take several minutes for the new data model to get created.

  14. Click OK when the process completes.

The new data model version appears in the Product Library tree view under the data model you chose.

ヒントヒント:

Once a data model version is created, you can view its properties by right-clicking and clicking Data Model Version Properties.
