An overview of the Aviation Data Management toolbox

The Aviation Data Management toolbox contains tools that allow you to work with data in different aeronautical formats. Using tools in this toolbox, you can import and export to different formats and perform updates based on aeronautical messages.

This toolbox enables workflows involving data exchange between other systems and the Aeronautical Information System (AIS) data model.

Toolset name	Description
AIXM	This toolset contains tools that are used for working with AIXM 4.5 and 5.1 data in ArcGIS for Aviation : Création de diagrammes. These tools allow you to import and export data and update null geometries created during import.
FAA	The FAA toolset contains tools that allow you to export FAA 18B geodatabase features to an FAA 18B-compliant shapefile as well as import shapefiles into a geodatabase with the FAA 18B schema.
Create Aviation Geodatabase	Applies one of the ArcGIS for Aviation data models to the target geodatabase and configures it for use with the software. The supported data models are the Esri Aeronautical Information System (AIS) Charting and Esri Airports.
