Enabling the default checks (Defense Mapping)
The Default Checks tab provides a list of checks that are performed on the data when a batch job is run. These checks are meant to perform prevalidation on geometries for features included in a batch job. This validates the feature's data integrity. If any of the default checks fail, the batch job could be prevented from executing the rest of the checks in the batch job, which can potentially cause them to fail. You can choose to always run the checks on a feature class when a Reviewer batch job is executed.
The checks that can be run by default are as follows:
-
Invalid Geometry CheckRemarque :
This check is selected by default when a new session is created.
- Multipart Line Check
- Multipart Polygon Check
- Non-Linear Segment Check
- Polyline or Path Closes on Self Check
The default checks are not run if the batch job you run on the data only includes database validation checks (Connectivity Rules, Domain, Relationships, or Subtype) or table checks (Execute SQL, Regular Expression, Table to Table Attribute, or Unique ID). This is because the default checks validate spatial conditions and do not include attribute validation.
