Enabling feature-level metadata in the Feature Manager (Production Mapping)

You can enable and disable the use of feature-level metadata. To ensure that the feature-level metadata attributes are being populated during the edit session, you need to enable the feature-level metadata by configuring metadata fields in the product library.

Etapes :
  1. Start ArcMap.
  2. If necessary, load data in the map.
  3. On the main menu, click Customize > Toolbars > Production Editing.
  4. If necessary, define the product library workspace.
  5. Ensure the following have been completed:
    1. A data model has been created.
    2. A data model version has been created using the schema that contains the feature-level metadata.
    3. Field configurations have been created for the schema.
  6. RemarqueRemarque :

    The Product Library window can be opened by clicking Customize > Production > Product Library.

  7. Click the Production Start Editing button Production Start Editing on the Production Editing toolbar.

    The Manage Features and Create Attributes, Update Attributes, or Metadata Attributes windows automatically appear when you start an edit session using the Production Start Editing tool.

    AstuceAstuce:

    If the Create Attributes, Update Attributes, or Metadata Attributes window does not appear when you start an edit session, click the Show/Hide Attributes button Show/Hide Attributes on the Manage Features window.

  8. Click the Metadata tab on the Manage Features window.
  9. Right-click the Metadata tab and click Use FCT Metadata.
