The spatial reference from the data-driven pages must match that of the AOI feature class.

Solution

Select a different Series created from a Solution that has a spatial reference that matches the spatial reference of the data-driven pages, or reenable the data-driven pages from a feature class that matches the spatial reference of the Solution.
