Introduction
What is the Mapping and Charting Solutions setup?
The Esri Mapping and Charting solutions setup contains the following products:
- Esri Aeronautical Solution
- ArcGIS for Maritime: Bathymetry
- Esri Defense Mapping
- ArcGIS for Maritime : Création de diagrammes
- Esri Production Mapping
- Atlas
- Task Assistant Manager
Esri Mapping and Charting solutions are compatible with ArcGIS for Desktop Standard and Advanced.
All the products can be installed at once. Production Mapping contains files and applications on which the other solutions are dependent and is automatically installed.
Remarque :Extension ArcGIS Data Reviewer for Desktop is available both as part of Production Mapping and as a separate product that can be purchased on its own. If you install Production Mapping, there is no need to install Data Reviewer separately.
Task Assistant Manager is also included with Workflow Manager. If you already installed Workflow Manager, you don't need to install Task Assistant Manager again.
Installation
The Esri Mapping and Charting solutions follow a standard maintenance cycle and will continue to be enhanced and expanded. For major releases, new complete software setups are provided through the Esri Customer Care website, while patches and service packs are provided on the Esri Support Site.
The Customer Care web site provides links to the setups and installation guides. From the Customer Care web site, click the installation guide link for information on installation procedures or a setup link to start the associated setup program.
You can also exit the Customer Care web site and run the installation setup individually. To do so, navigate to the folder of the product you want to install and start the setup program.
For instance, to install Esri Mapping and Charting solutions, navigate to the directory where the setup file has been saved and double-click setup.exe.
