Data & Maps 10.1

The complete Data & Maps collection on DVD ships with ArcGIS for Desktop software. Most datasets are also available at ArcGIS.com. The data collection includes:

• Over 120 presymbolized vector data layers for the United States, North America, Europe, and the world.
• Basemap and thematic map documents with scale-dependent rendering and labeling and the ability to turn layers on and off.
• Commercial data from TomTom, DeLorme, Michael Bauer Research, and Esri.
• Governmental and non-governmental organization data from U.S. Census Bureau, USGS, U.S. National Transportation Atlas, and World Wildlife Fund (WWF). WWF data is only available with the Data & Maps collection on DVD.
• All levels of 2010 U.S. Census geography and ZIP Codes with projected current year population values.
• Tele Atlas 2007-based StreetMap North America ready for routing and geocoding in the United States and Canada.
• Data is provided in Esri's compressed, direct-read, high-performance Smart Data Compression (SDC) format.

The datasets follow two metadata standards-the Content Standard for Digital Geospatial Metadata (CSDGM) from the Federal Geographic Data Committee (FGDC) and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 19115 Geographic Information - Metadata.
