Introduction
To install ArcGIS Workflow Manager extension for Server, you must have ArcGIS for Server Standard or Advanced installed. You must also be an administrator or have elevated privileges.
This installation guide will provide steps required to set up your Workflow Manager system. The Server installation package contains ArcGIS Workflow Manager extension for Server and Desktop. The installation wizard will verify that ArcGIS Workflow Manager is properly installed.
Starting ArcGIS Workflow Manager for Server
The following steps are required to get Workflow Manager for Server up and running:
- Verify that your system meets the system requirements.
- Review your ArcGIS for Server configuration.
- Install ArcGIS Workflow Manager for Server.
- Run the ArcGIS for Server authorization wizard with a valid license that has the Workflow Manager server feature.
- Restart the ArcGIS for Server service.
- Configure the ArcGIS Workflow Manager service.
Do not install ArcGIS Workflow Manager extension for Desktop and ArcGIS Workflow Manager extension for Server in the same folder.
