Project properties

When you save a project using Mobile Project Center, the Project Properties window appears and prompts you to enter project properties. These properties are used when your users open the project in the field applications and when they search for projects on ArcGIS Online and Portal for ArcGIS. You can also edit the properties of an existing project and save the updates.

• Directory—location where the project will be saved.
• Project Title (required)—Title that displays in the field application and when the project is posted as an item to ArcGIS Online and Portal for ArcGIS.
• Tags—Keywords about the project that are used by the search mechanism for ArcGIS Online and Portal for ArcGIS. On ArcGIS Online or Portal for ArcGIS, when users type a term or phrase into the search text box that matches the keyword you provide, the chances of your project appearing high on the search results list are improved.
• Description—Details about the project that are meaningful to your field workers and others searching for field projects.
• Thumbnail—Small image taken as a snapshot of the mobile map or added from a stock file.

Tip:

At the bottom of the Project Properties window you can click the more information section to see the project's last modified time and the spatial reference used by the mobile map.
