Go to layer

The ArcGIS Viewer for Silverlight allows you to easily zoom to the full extent of any layer in the map. You can only zoom to layers that are selectable in the Map Contents or Configure Layers panel.

The following steps describe how to zoom to a layer:

1. In the Viewer, open the Map Contents panel.
2. Right-click the layer to zoom to and click Go To. Alternatively, you can select the layer and click the Go To button at the bottom of the panel:

   

   The map will update to show the extent of the layer.

The Go To tool cannot be used on sublayers within a map service layer. See Layer Types for more information.
