Searching ArcGIS Online

To search for a map, feature, or image service from ArcGIS Online to add to your map, begin by opening the Search panel.

Follow these steps to perform your search:

1. Click Search on the Map tab to open the Search panel:
2. Click the ArcGIS tab on the Search panel.
3. Type your search criteria and click the magnifying glass icon or press Enter. All map, feature, and image services that match your criteria will be listed in the Search panel.
4. Move the mouse pointer over a result to get more information about it. The result's title, owner, URL, thumbnail, description, and rating are shown:
5. To add a result to your map, click the Add link for that result.
