Uninstalling the ArcGIS Web Adaptor

To uninstall the ArcGIS Web Adaptor, follow the steps in the sections below.

Keep in mind that once you unregister the Web Adaptor, client applications will not be able to communicate with Portal for ArcGIS. If you want to reestablish this communication in the future, use the Web Adaptor configuration page to register the Web Adaptor with Portal for ArcGIS. Uninstalling the Web Adaptor

You'll use your operating system's tools to uninstall the Web Adaptor. To do so, follow the steps below.

Steps:
  1. On Windows Server 2003, go to Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs; on Windows XP, go to Start > Control Panel and double-click Add or Remove Programs; on Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows Server 2008, click Start > Control Panel (switch to Classic View, if necessary) then select Programs and Features.
  2. From the Programs list, select ArcGIS 10.2 Web Adaptor (Java Platform).
  3. Select Remove to uninstall the ArcGIS Web Adaptor (Java Platform) from the machine.

Uninstalling the Web Adaptor silently

To uninstall the ArcGIS 10.2 Web Adaptor (Java Platform) silently, run this command from the command line:

msiexec /x {D9F0D397-64A8-494B-83CF-0A71A2751AC2} /qb

To uninstall the ArcGIS 10.1 SP1 Web Adaptor (Java Platform) silently, run this command from the command line:

msiexec /x {E511C26C-3028-48E8-AD83-A30B1A7BFAFC} /qb

To uninstall the ArcGIS 10.1 Web Adaptor (Java Platform) silently, run this command from the command line:

msiexec /x {02013567-A06D-4B27-9CDB-4777ED7473F3} /qb
