Making map sheets single

LegacyLegacy:

10.2.1 is the final release in which MPS-Atlas is available for installation. It is recommended that map series created with MPS-Atlas be moved to data driven pages. For more information, see Migrating an MPS-Atlas map book to Data Driven Pages.

Working with the map sheet, you can add a new data frame manager and layout to the selected map sheet and, in effect, break the link between the map sheet and the shared map series. This way the map can be modified and changed without the changes affecting all the other maps in the map series.

Steps:
  1. Start ArcMap.
  2. On the main menu, click Customize > Toolbars > MPS Atlas.
  3. Click the MPS Atlas window button MPS Atlas window on the MPS Atlas toolbar.

    The MPS Atlas window appears.

  4. Right-click a map sheet and click Make Map Sheet Single.

The chain icon disappears from the map sheet, and a data frame manager appears directly below the map sheet name.
