Using the existing buffer

10.2.1 is the final release in which MPS-Atlas is available for installation. It is recommended that map series created with MPS-Atlas be moved to data driven pages. For more information, see Migrating an MPS-Atlas map book to Data Driven Pages.

The buffer represents a space around a particular feature in spatial or linear units. For your map series, you can use an existing buffer that has been configured in the layout you are using by choosing the No Change option on the Buffer dialog box.

Steps:

1. Click No Change in the Buffer list.
2. Click Next.

   The Scale and Extent dialog box appears.

3. Proceed to one of the following:
