Editing the ILS feather (Aviation)
You can resize and modify the angle of the Instrument Landing System (ILS) feather element within the instrument approach profile view to create a more accurate portrayal of the ILS in an Instrument Approach Procedure.

Steps:
- Start ArcMap.
- On the main menu, click Customize > Toolbars > Aviation Terminal Procedure.

Click the Edit Instrument Approach Profile button
on the Aviation Terminal Procedure toolbar.

Click on the ILS feather element to select it.
A blue selection outline appears with nodes at the feather vertices.
- Click the ILS Feather node where it intercepts the vertical line.
- Drag the selected node to modify the ILS feather element length and angle.
The ILS feather size and/or angle is changed.
