Creating a 3D bookmark

You can store the current 3D view extent as a 3D bookmark and come back to the same location in the future.

To create a 3D bookmark, do the following:

Steps:

1. Navigate to the perspective for which you want to create a bookmark.
2. Click the Bookmarks menu.
3. Click Create Bookmark.
The Create Bookmark dialog box appears.
4. Type a name for the bookmark.
5. Click OK.
To confirm your bookmark was created, click the Bookmarks menu again; the name of the bookmark you just created should be listed. 3D bookmarks are stored in the menu's drop-down list. Selecting from this list is how you will navigate using bookmarks.

Tip:

• To create or navigate using an existing bookmark in a secondary viewer, right-click its title bar and click Bookmarks > Create Bookmark or the name of the existing bookmark.
• Update the extent of an existing bookmark at any time using Bookmarks Manager. Right-click the name of the bookmark in the bookmarks list and choose Update Bookmark.
