Cleaning up functions using the ESRIUDFB script

Three of the functions created for ArcSDE 9.3.x for DB2 on z/OS are no longer needed. Therefore, if you are upgrading from a 9.3 or 9.3.1 geodatabase, submit the ESRIUDFB script on your z/OS server to drop the following three functions:

• SDE.SDE_V_IS_WRITABLE
• SDE.SDE_V_NOT_DEFAULT
• SDE.SDE_CURRENT_STATE

Steps:

1. Upload the ESRIUDFB script to your target z/OS server.

   ESRIUDFB is installed to %SDEHOME%\db2zosexe\tools\db2zos on the Windows server where ArcSDE is installed.

2. Run the ESRIUDFB script on your target z/OS server.
