Smooth Line (Defense Mapping)

Summary

Esri Defense Mapping cartographic production tool that smooths sharp angles and corners to improve feature display. This tool uses a Defense Mapping-specific algorithm to perform its feature modifications.

Defense Mapping geoprocessing tools Create Contours and EGB Hydro Centerline use this tool to smooth their output features.

Usage

• This tool changes the input polyline feature data. This operation cannot be undone.

Syntax

SmoothLine_defense (polyline_features)
