Adding a parcel fabric as a layer to ArcMap
This topic applies to ArcGIS for Desktop Standard and ArcGIS for Desktop Advanced only.
Follow these steps to add a parcel fabric layer to ArcMap:
Steps:
-
In ArcMap, click the Add Data button
on the Standard toolbar.
- On the Add Data dialog box, navigate to and select the parcel fabric that you want to add to the map and click Add.
- Click the plus sign next to the parcel fabric layer to expand the layer and show the sublayers.
The parcel fabric is added as a group layer and is listed in the Table of Contents window in ArcMap.

You can also add parcel fabric feature classes such as the fabric parcels feature class as individual, stand-alone layers to ArcMap. When adding data to ArcMap, double-click the parcel fabric to display its feature classes and tables.
