Setting line fit (cartography) tolerances
This topic applies to ArcGIS for Desktop Standard and ArcGIS for Desktop Advanced only.
You can set tolerances that define how adjacent lines representing the same common boundary are cartographically matched or fitted together on the Edit Environment tab of the Parcel Fabric Properties dialog box.

Line Cartography tolerances are not available if the parcel fabric has not been upgraded to the ArcGIS10.1 release.
A line point is a parcel corner point that lies on an adjacent parcel boundary but does not split the boundary.
Line point tolerance
When joining parcels to the fabric, lines of the join parcel might not match the lines of the existing fabric or vice versa. Straight lines are bent or flexed to line points if they lie closer to their line points than the tolerance specified for Line-point.

This tolerance applies to both the Fabric points held fixed and the Joining points held fixed methods on the Join Parcel dialog box.
Circular curve line fit tolerance
If the radii distances of overlapping curve lines differ by less than the specified tolerance, the endpoints of the overlapping curves are merged into single points.
