Saving a graph

If you want to copy a graph from one map document to another, first save it to a file on disk. That way you can load the graph into another map document and place it as appropriate.

All the properties you've set on a graph are maintained when you save it to disk including the type of graph, data on which the graph is based, whether there's a selected set, and what fields are being graphed.

If you want to include a representation of a graph in another application, you can export the graph to several raster and vector graphics file formats.

You can also use the Save Graph Geoprocessing tool for saving graphs.

Steps:

1. Right-click the graph window and click Save.
2. Navigate to the location where you want to save.
3. Type the file name.

   The .grf extension will be applied to the output file.

4. Click the Save button.

Tip:

You can also save a graph from Graph Manager by right-clicking it and clicking Save.
