Saving a model
To reuse a model, it must be saved to a file. Once it is saved, you and other members of your organization can run the model or use it as a base to create a new model.
Steps:

Click Save on the Landscape Modeler pane.
The Save Model dialog box appears.
- Type a name for the model in the Title text box.
By default, the Description text box is populated with the names of the layers in the model and the percentages assigned to each one.
- Click the Category drop-down arrow and choose a category for the model.
- Earth & Atmosphere—The model relates to geologic or atmospheric conditions.
- Boundaries—The model relates to city, county, or state boundaries.
- Resources & Infrastructure—The model relates to natural resources or infrastructure needs.
- Plants & Animals—The model relates to plant or animal habitats.
- People & Places—The model relates to development conditions or economic trends.
- Environmental Threats & Hazards—The model relates to environmental threats and hazards.
- Click Save.
