Uninstalling Mapping and Charting Solutions on Windows XP

Use the following steps to uninstall Mapping and Charting Solutions on Windows XP.

Note:

This process only applies to the 10.2 and 10.2.1 releases. Windows XP is no longer supported at 10.2.2.

Steps:

1. Browse to Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.
2. Click Mapping and Charting Solutions 10.2.x.
3. Click Remove.
4. Click Yes when asked if you want to remove Mapping and Charting Solutions 10.2.1 from your computer.

Uninstalling Mapping and Charting Solutions on Windows Server, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8

Use the following steps to uninstall Mapping and Charting Solutions on Windows Server 2008, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8.

Note:

For Windows Server 2003 and Windows Vista, this process only applies to the 10.2 and 10.2.1 releases. Windows Server 2003 and Windows Vista are no longer supported at 10.2.2.

Steps:

1. Browse to Control Panel > Programs and Features.
2. Click Mapping and Charting Solutions 10.2.x.
3. Click Uninstall.
4. Click Yes when asked if you want to uninstall Mapping and Charting Solutions 10.2.x.

Uninstalling Mapping and Charting Solutions silently

You can use the msiexec.exe command to silently uninstall Mapping and Charting Solutions. This uninstalls all the features associated with Mapping and Charting Solutions all at once. Msiexec.exe uses the following syntax:
