Installing Nautical Solution Workstation for VPF export

To export Digital Nautical Chart (DNC) data to Vector Product Format (VPF), you must install ArcInfo Workstation and PLTS Nautical Solution Workstation software and patches.

Note:

If you do not have the PLTS Nautical Solution Workstation media, contact your local Esri distributor. For your Esri office or distributor’s contact information, please visit the Esri support center online.

Steps:

1. Install ArcInfo Workstation 10.
2. Install PLTS Nautical Solution Workstation.
3. Navigate to the vpf folder at <path where Esri Mapping and Charting solutions setup.exe was saved>EsriMappingAndChartingSolutions/vpf.
4. Double-click PLTS_Nautical_WS_Patch1.exe to install workstation patch 1.
5. Double-click PLTS_Nautical_WS_Patch2.exe to install workstation patch 2.
