Installing ArcGIS GeoEvent Processor for Server

The steps below will guide you through the ArcGIS GeoEvent Processor for Server installation process.

Installation prerequisites include the following:

• Obtain an authorization file for the machine on which you will install ArcGIS GeoEvent Processor for Server.
• Verify that your site meets the system requirements.
• Log in as a user with administrative privileges.

Steps:

1. Start the ArcGIS 10.2.x GeoEvent Processor for Server setup program.
2. Click Next on the Welcome to the InstallShield Wizard for ArcGIS 10.2.x GeoEvent Processor for Server panel of the installation wizard.

   The License Agreement dialog box appears.

3. Review the license agreement and accept it, or exit if you do not agree with the terms.
4. Click Next.

   The Setup Type dialog box appears.

5. Choose Complete or Custom install.

   Choosing a custom install will launch the Custom Setup dialog box, select the program features that will be installed including the GeoEvent Processor Software Development Kit (SDK).

6. Click Next.

   The Specify ArcGIS GeoEvent Processor Account dialog box appears.

7. Enter the ArcGIS Server Account password.

   This is the account that the ArcGIS GeoEvent Processor process will run as.

8. Click Next.

   The Ready to Install the Program dialog box appears.

9. Click Install to begin the installation.

   The Software Authorization Wizard dialog box appears.

10. Follow the Software Authorization Wizard instructions to license ArcGIS GeoEvent Processor for Server.
11. Click Finish.

    The installer continues with the installation.

12. Click Finish.
