Software Authorization Wizard for Single Use Products

In ArcGIS Administrator, if you pick a Single Use product, you will be able to launch the Authorization Wizard.

Single Use products need to be authorized before use. The Authorization Wizard configures your machine using the authorization information sent via e-mail by Esri Customer Service. Save the e-mail attachment to your machine. You will need this *.prvc file during the authorization process. To reconfigure your machine with an updated authorization file, run through the Authorization Wizard again. To launch the Authorization Wizard at a later time, you must open the ArcGIS Administrator located at Program Files > ArcGIS > ArcGIS Administrator.

Immediately after installing ArcGIS Desktop for the first time, the ArcGIS Administrator launches as a wizard to help you set up your license environment.

1. Click the Single Use product you want to use and click Authorize Now.
2. Follow the dialog box to complete the authorization process.
