Uninstalling ArcGIS Data Reviewer for Desktop
You can uninstall ArcGIS Data Reviewer for Desktop using the following methods:
- Windows Add/Remove Programs dialog box
- Msiexec.exe (silent uninstall)
How you access the Add/Remove Programs dialog box depends on your operating system.
Uninstalling Data Reviewer
Windows XP
Use the following procedures to uninstall Data Reviewer on Windows XP.
- Click the Start button and click Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.
- Click ArcGIS Data Reviewer for Desktop 10.2.1.
- Click Remove.
Windows 7 and Server 2008
Use the following procedures to uninstall Data Reviewer on Windows 7 or Server 2008.
- Click the Start button and click Control Panel > Programs and Features.
- Click ArcGIS Data Reviewer for Desktop 10.2.1.
- Click Uninstall.
Windows 8
Use the following procedures to uninstall Data Reviewer on Windows 8.
- In the Control Panel, click Uninstall a Program.
- Click ArcGIS Data Reviewer for Desktop 10.2.1.
- Click Uninstall.
Uninstalling Data Reviewer silently
Use the msiexec.exe command to perform a silent uninstallation. Msiexec.exe uses the following syntax:
msiexec /x <{product code}> /qb
To uninstall Data Reviewer silently, use the following command:
msiexec /x {02BA9F29-0B73-4719-B038-73A0AED49118} /qb
The /qb switch indicates that the command will show a basic user interface (UI) with a progress bar. You can also use the following switch:
- /qr—Displays a reduced UI
For a complete list of msiexec switches, use the following command:
msiexec /?
Uninstalling the Data Reviewer service
The Data Reviewer uninstallation will automatically remove the Data Reviewer service.
To uninstall only the Data Reviewer service, double-click the ReviewerServiceUninstaller.exe file in the $\Program Files\ArcGIS\ArcGISDataReviewer\Desktop<version>\Bin folder.
