Preprocessing

As noted in the Standard Workflow, it is advised to create pyramids for all source raster files, unless the number of rows or columns is less than approximately 1,000. Also note that pyramids may not be necessary for compressed multi-image mosaics (data case 2), which typically have built-in pyramids.
