Data structure

Presuming your organization has more than one data collection, it is recommended that your image files be stored with each collection in a separate directory—for example, ordered by year if you have multiple years, or if you have multiple collections in one year, each collection in a subdirectory under the year. If you are managing very large collections (such as multiple states or regions, with multiple years for each), use any logical directory structure that simplifies file maintenance.

There are no additional recommendations in addition to those in the Standard Workflow for structuring data files and directories.
