Maintenance

When a new data collection is added into the system, it is recommended to do the following:

• Create a new source mosaic dataset as defined in the above sections.
• Complete appropriate quality control (QC) procedures, and then do one of the following:
  • Add the new source mosaic dataset into an existing derived mosaic dataset using the TABLE raster type.
  • Presuming automated processing scripts have been implemented, add process commands for the new source mosaic dataset into the automated build process, and rebuild the entire derived mosaic dataset.
• If a new data collection is added into the system that is outside the current boundary of any existing datasets, run the Build Boundary tool.
