Create an ArcPad project

Any of the outputs of the following actions can be uploaded to ArcGIS Online as an ArcPad project:

• Get Data for ArcPad
• Save a map in ArcPad
• Create an ArcPad App

Get Data for ArcPad is a wizard that you use in ArcMap to prepare data for use in ArcPad. For more information, see Get Data for ArcPad.

Any map that you create and save in ArcPad can be used to create an ArcPad project. For more information on saving a map in ArcPad, see Creating maps

An ArcPad app can contain layers, a map document, and configuration files that customize how ArcPad will look when the app is loaded. For more information, see Create an ArcPad app shortcut.
