Update an ArcPad project in ArcPad

When you update a project, the files stored locally on your device will replace the files in ArcGIS Online. Only projects that already exist in ArcGIS Online can be updated. If they do not exist, you need to add an ArcPad project to ArcGIS Online.

The Update project tool uses the map title (defined on the Information tab of the Map Properties dialog box in ArcPad) of the active map to identify your ArcPad project in ArcGIS Online.

Make sure that each of your packages has a unique name in ArcGIS Online, so that ArcPad can correctly identify and update your projects.
