Download an ArcPad package in ArcPad

In ArcPad, choose the Download Package tool from the Open menu. This will launch the Add Data from Server dialog box with the default URL of ArcGIS Online. All of the packages of type ArcPad Project or ArcPad Template will be listed in the tree view.

Downloading ArcPad templates

When you download an ArcPad template, it's saved to your \ArcPad\Templates folder. To use the template, create a QuickProject, and choose your new template from the list.

When you download an ArcPad Project, it's saved to your default data folder and is immediately launched for your use.

The project contains the information needed so you that you can update the online files.
