ArcPad contents

ArcPad 10.2 includes the following:

ArcPad installation

Installing ArcPad is a five-step (or four-step if you do not require server synchronization) process:

1. Install Microsoft ActiveSync or Windows Mobile Device Center on your Windows computer if you intend to install ArcPad on a Windows Mobile device.
2. Establish a synchronization connection between your Windows computer and the Windows Mobile device.
3. Insert the ArcPad installation media, and click Install ArcPad on the ArcPad setup menu to install ArcPad and its components on your Windows computer.
4. After installing ArcPad on your Windows computer, the setup program will automatically run the ArcPad Deployment Manager to install ArcPad and the various components on your Windows Mobile device.

   The ArcPad Deployment Manager can also be started from the Start menu or the ArcPad installation folder on your Windows computer.
