Editing basics

In addition to displaying and querying spatial data, ArcPad allows you to create and edit spatial data using input from either the mouse pointer, pen, global positioning system (GPS), or rangefinder.

This section provides an introduction on how to edit in ArcPad and describes the basic tasks you need to know before you can start to create and edit spatial data. This chapter includes information on basic editing tasks, such as displaying the Edit toolbar and Command bar; and selecting, moving, and deleting features.
