ArcReaderGlobeControl play animation

PurposeThis sample demonstrates how to use the IARGlobeControl.ShowARGlobeWindow method to play animations published with a Published Map File (PMF). This method provides more functionality, with regard to playing animations, than the IARGlobe.PlayAnimation method. By using IARGlobeControl.ShowARGlobeWindow, you can hide or show the animation window when animations are playing.

How to use

See How to use ArcGIS samples for help on compiling, setting up the debugger, and running the sample. If the sample has associated data, you will find that the sample's zip file includes a "data" folder alongside the language folders. However, you will need to update the sample to point to the location of the data once you have extracted all the files.

  1. Browse to a PMF (published from ArcGlobe that contains animations) to load.
  2. Select an animation to play from the combo box.
  3. Select the check box to see the animation.
  4. Click Play to play the animation.
