IMapDocument.IsReadOnly Property

Indicates if the map document is read only.

Parameters

sDocument [in]
  sDocument is a parameter of type BSTR
IsReadOnly [out, retval]
  IsReadOnly is a parameter of type VARIANT_BOOL

Product Availability

Available with ArcGIS Engine, ArcGIS Desktop, and ArcGIS Server.

Description

Determines whether the specified file is read only. The Save method cannot overwrite a read-only MapDocument, use the SaveAs to write to a new document.
