Buffer features and create graphic elements

Purpose
This sample buffers each selected feature in the focus map and stores the results as polygon graphic elements in the map's basic graphics layer. This sample replaces the call to dialog boxes with a hard-coded value or as a parameter to a method.

How to use

See How to use ArcGIS samples for help on running the sample. If the sample has associated data, you will find that the sample's zip file includes a "data" folder alongside the language folders. However, you will need to update the sample to point to the location of the data once you have extracted all the files.

  1. Add code from the application to a visual application that has a Map control.
  2. Run the application.
