Renaming a schematic diagram

Schritte:

1. Start ArcCatalog.
2. Click the schematic diagram you want to rename in the Catalog tree.
   • Click File and click Rename.
   • Alternatively, right-click the desired schematic diagram and click Rename.
3. Type the new name.

   This name must be unique.

4. Press ENTER.
   Achtung:

   Schematics enforces the uniqueness of the schematic diagram name regarding

   • The name of its schematic dataset
   • The names of all the schematic diagrams in its schematic dataset
   • The names of all the schematic folders at the same level in the schematic dataset

   For example, in the following situation, regarding to the hierarchy of folders in the schematic dataset, the TempDiagram diagram cannot be renamed ElecDemo, since this is the schematic dataset name. It cannot be renamed Test, Substation 08, Feeder 0801-RiceCreek, Feeder 0802-Goldmine, or Feeder 0803-corinth Church, since those names correspond to existing diagrams in the schematic dataset. Also, its name cannot be RecycleBin or ToUpdate, since those names are used for schematic folders at the same level this diagram is.
