Updating features on a Windows device

You can use the ArcGIS application on a Windows device to update attributes and attachments (if applicable) for existing features.

Note:

You cannot update geometries for existing features on a Windows device.

Updating attributes and attachments

Steps:

1. Select a feature from the identify results list, search results list, work list or mange edit list.
2. Tap a feature on the feature list, then tap the icon on the right of the feature. A feature on the feature list can be in deleted status. If this is the case, the Windows application will disable the attribute and attachment items on the editing menu, as shown below:
   • Tap Edit Attributes to update the attributes. As with data collection, on the Edit Attributes page some attributes might present a pick list for you to select values from. Depending on how your project administrator configures the project, some fields may be configured to appear only when you collect a new feature, some may only appear when you edit an existing feature, others may or may not show up in both cases.
   • Tap Manage Attachments to update the attachments. If your feature has no attachment support, this menu item will be disabled. You can add and remove attachments on the Edit Attachments page.
